Registration for the 2013-2014 preparation year is now closed.
In order to receive the sacrament, all youth must be 15 years of age by January 1, 2014 and registered in and attending some form of Catholic Religious Education in addition to the Confirmation preparation classes.
Also, all youth must have attended a full year of Catholic Religious Education the year prior to preparing for confirmation (ex. if confirmation is done in 10th grade, youth must have attended Catholic Religious Education in 9th grade). Think of this as a 2 year program, in the first year it's just Religious Education classes, however in year 2 it's both Religious Education and the Confirmation classes.
The cost for Religious Education is $50. The cost for confirmation is $150. The confirmation cost is a separate cost from Religious Education. Confirmation cost includes: confirmation program materials, Catechisms for each candidate and the cost of attending a retreat.
If Religious Education is done outside of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, proper documentation must be turned in and approved.

Confirmation classes will be most Tuesdays beginning Tuesday January 14, 2014 and ending Tuesday April 8, 2014. Classes are from 7pm-8:30pm. Confirmation candidates will go through these sessions in year 2 of the confirmation program. Candidates will also have to be attending regular religious education classes throughout the entire school year (September - May) in addition to these Confirmation classes.
